V718 Time trial 25th August

Hi All,

As some of you may know the V718 10 mile course in Hull is rumoured to be the fastest course in the country. I am planning a trip up there on 25th August and thought I would see if anyone else fancied a trip up there too?

Team Swift have 3 events on 25th August: At 10.00 they have riders slower than 22:00, at 12.00 they women and juniors and at 14.00 they have riders faster than 22:00 so there should hopefully be something for everyone who is interested.

I thought that if we could get a few of us together we could maybe sort out car shares etc

Great idea to coordinate trips to open events. I can't make it on this occasion, but always good to know what events people are planning. My next event is Hinckley CRC 10 on Saturday 22nd June (and there's a 25 on the Sunday too). Anyone else riding there? Though I realise we won't need to car share to Wolvey!

Good luck in co-ordinating trips to races, it was tried back in the 80's without the added advantage of pootas and t'internet, but someone was willing to co-ordinate a list of everyone's planned events over the year and link people up together for potential shared lifts... sadly it failed cos only 2 of us ever bothered supplying a list of potential events......

I have entered and can certainly carry one additional rider and bike.

I have also entered the event on the 3rd Aug on the A50/6 we were talking about on Thursday at the club TT.

From what I am hearing the F11/10 is the new V718.... much closer to Cov as well
