Was I the only person that spotted Roger and Sheila Gillet today (Sunday) on BBC 2 in the opening frames of the European Champs at Manchester?

They were both there cheering away. I had to double check by rewinding to see it was them!

Indeed, I think it was a montage of previous track meets in order to demonstrate the place the NCC is in our great sport, at the start of the World cup Meet.. sadly the European championships were never televised this year. Alongside them was also Jean Bayliss who I have frequently bumped into at the velodrome either in official capacity or watching....

Bit late now but it was on BBC iplayer!
